Womens Reading Glasses Should Have Class

Many women who wear reading glasses don’t need them for anything else. Presbyopia is common in people over forty. Just like our bodies are not as flexible as they once were, our eyes do not adjust as quickly as they once did. People often say their arms are too short because they cannot read the newspaper or the phone book. I remember when I first discovered I needed to wear them a few years ago. I was aghast that my eyes, like the rest of my body had betrayed me. I did not feel old and I was almost embarrassed to admit I could not see well enough to read small print without them. My first clue was at work. I was looking at a package insert for some medication and found that the dosage information was impossibly tiny. I certainly could not afford to make an error on the pet’s prescription so I got myself a pair of reading glasses. Womens reading glasses do not have to be ugly.

When I started looking around I found quite a few trendy and very attractive options. I am by no means a fashion plate, but having a few different pair to choose from was nice. I could even match them to my scrubs. People would remark that they were cute. Hey, maybe it wasn’t so bad after all. I am not old, just experienced. My cool looking reading glasses were proof that I was not over the hill.

Some very stylish people have started their own line of reading glasses for women. Joan Rivers comes immediately to mind. I was not a fan of her comedy, but her jewelry line was impeccable. Her fashion sense and attention to detail and quality translated into her line of reading glasses. She insisted on top quality lenses and interesting details to make the glasses stand out from the norm. Foster Grant has Raquel Welch modeling their line. I don’t know many middle aged women who would not want to look like her. If you’re a quirky older flower child, Kirk’s Folly has some glitzy specs to go along with their fantasy jewelry. The designer brands may cost more than the typical drugstore offerings, but they are not really expensive. Most of them are no more costly than a nice pair of sunglasses. Speaking of sunglasses, they come as readers too. Womens reading glasses come in styles and color galore, so express yourself.
